What boards and CFOs should note
Three points stand out. First, retail money kept flowing into equity funds as markets fell, mostly through SIPs. Second, the flow tilted toward smaller companies, which matters for issuers and for liquidity. Third, large debt-fund outflows mean institutional treasuries moved money out of liquid and money market funds in the month.
