CureBay, a healthtech company that runs technology-enabled clinics in rural areas, has raised about ₹100 crore in a Pre-Series C round, according to CIOL and Entrepreneur India on 22 October 2026. Spectate Media has not seen a company release, and the usage figures are the company's.
The round
Equity is ₹69 crore, led by IvyCap Ventures with existing investors, and debt is more than ₹30 crore from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and VentureSoul Partners. Equity is therefore about 69% of the round. The reports disclose no valuation, revenue or profit, and no timeline for deploying the money.
The network
Founded in 2021, CureBay says it runs more than 250 clinics across seven states and has served over 17 lakh patients. CIOL lists more than 1,800 community health workers it calls Swasthya Mitras, 530 clinical staff, over 230 doctor partners, over 210 partner hospitals and labs, and more than 400 health camps a month. It offers consultations, medicine delivery, diagnostic tests and help with surgery. It also says it is the healthcare partner for Samriddhi Kendra, a Government of India initiative.
What the money is for
The company plans to enter new markets, including Andhra Pradesh, and to build an AI layer for patient screening, health insights, clinical decision support, and risk alerts. No clinic targets were given. Founder and chief executive Priyadarshi Mohapatra said, "Rural Bharat doesn't need another app; it needs a system that works end to end."
Key numbers
- Round size: About ₹100 crore (Pre-Series C)
- Equity: ₹69 crore (Led by IvyCap Ventures)
- Debt: Over ₹30 crore (Trifecta, Alteria, VentureSoul)
- Clinics: 250+ (Seven states; 17 lakh patients served)
What boards and CFOs should note
Three points stand out. First, part of the round is debt, which suggests lenders see steady cash flow in clinic operations, though that is an inference. Second, the company discloses patient and clinic counts but not financials. Third, AI screening is a plan, not a result, so its effect is not yet measured.
