Shamrock AI, an enterprise AI startup headquartered in Shillong, has raised $5 million, about ₹47.4 crore, in seed funding, according to Inc42. Endiya Partners led the round, with participation from Capria Ventures. The report describes it as the company's first institutional round and mentions no earlier funding.

What the company builds

Shamrock AI is building what it calls an agentic assurance platform. The aim is to help large enterprises deploy AI agents across critical business processes and keep them reliable in complex environments. The platform uses an Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph, which links business processes, systems, data and configurations.

Where it starts

The company first automates testing across large ERP transformations, including SAP S/4HANA migrations. It plans to expand into data observability and autonomous business process automation.

Founders and customers

The founders are Sarat Addanki, Anuraag Nallapati and Michael Gallagher, and the company was founded in 2026. It says it already serves multiple Fortune 500 companies, including a Fortune 100 AI hardware manufacturer and a Fortune 100 healthcare company. The report does not name any customer.

Use of funds and workforce

The money will go to product development, team expansion in India and the US, go-to-market efforts and expansion into the Middle East. The company expects 70% to 80% of its workforce to be based in India, and plans to build a client-facing team in the US. Its offices are in Shillong, Hyderabad and San Francisco.

Key numbers

  • Seed round: $5 mn (About ₹47.4 cr)
  • Lead investor: Endiya Partners (With Capria Ventures)
  • Founded: 2026 (Shillong HQ)
  • India workforce: 70–80% (Expected share)

What boards and CFOs should note

Three points stand out for finance teams. First, the product targets reliability of AI agents in ERP transformations, a cost centre for large enterprises. Second, the customer claims are the company's own, and the report names no customer. Third, the funding is a seed round of $5 million, so the figures say little about revenue or scale.
