What boards and CFOs should note

Three points stand out for finance teams. First, profit grew about five times as fast as revenue in the quarter, at 120% against 24%, so the report's figures point to a large improvement in profitability on the year. Second, the first half moved from a loss of ₹87 crore to a profit of ₹1,192 crore. Third, the power segment accounted for about 74% of half-year segment revenue, by the report's figures of ₹12,557 crore out of ₹16,998 crore.
